Iain served as a RAF Police Dog Handler serving in the UK and Overseas and later he went on to serve in the civilian police and other government organisations. He is heavily involved with The Veterans Charity helping ex servicemen in urgent need of food and other supplies. He has also created The Memorial Mob to fill the gaps with memorials to the ‘lost and forgotten’ events of both the Armed and Emergency Services, the initial inspiration for a National Memorial to the Military Working Dogs of the UK came from there. He is designing the first memorial by the team to go overseas, all other projects to date, have so far been in the UK.
He is also supporting the Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Clubs forming one in Uxbridge in NW London and helping set up others across the country and through the above charities and groups is also setting up the ‘Ribbon of Poppies’ a free project to allow the public to sow poppy seeds to create a living memorial to all those that served and fell in World War One.
