Commemorating Military Working Dogs

from World I to present day & beyond

The National Military Working Dogs Memorial charity, otherwise known as NMWDM (UK), was established in 2017 with the sole purpose to establish a memorial to commemorate the Military Working Dogs who bravely served their country in both World Wars and subsequent conflicts as in Bosnia Afghanistan and Iraq.

Our working dog memorial has been built to honour all branches of the United Kingdom’s Armed Forces. At its heart are four bronze dog statues, each specially chosen to represent the courage and service of military working dogs who have served their country. Surrounding them are plaques bearing the names of many other beloved military dogs, ensuring their legacy lives on.
