On the 23rd June, Christopher Slack ran the Torbay half marathon to raise money for the National Military Working Dog Memorial, to help with our aim to build a memorial for those service dogs who have lost their lives.
Christopher chose to run for our charity as he has had first hand experience of losing his search dog, Oddy to an Improvised Explosive Device during his first tour of Afghanistan. Christopher ran the marathon in her memory.
Any donation however big or small, would mean a great deal to Christopher and of course to the National Military Working Dogs Memorial charity and will provide funds for the charity to build a lasting memorial for those dogs who gave their all.
Christopher has raised £645 so far but would love to be able to raise more.
