Emma Ward represents Working Dogs Memorial in Parliament
Emma Ward, trustee of the National Military Working Dogs Memorial (UK) and Marketing Manager at the award winning Holywell Pet Cemetery, delivered a fascinating and moving presentation to the All Party Parliamentary Dog Advisory Welfare group in Westminister about the proposed Memorial to commemorate military working dogs who bravely served their country in conflict.
This NMWDM (UK) presentation formed part of the Unsung Heroes event which aims to highlight the work that dogs do and the impact they have had.
“The response to the presentation has been fantastic from all who attended'” explains Emma. “It has been a great opportunity to educate and gain support from other like minded people. Our role as trustees is to raise the funds to build the memorial as well as educate, inform and honour our working dogs.”
