at RAF Henlow Family Day

The RAF Henlow Family Day is always an event everyone looks forward to and one in which Emma and Becky were proud to fly the flag for NMWDM.

We were really looking forward to seeing the police dog display team and the dog activities but as it was the hottest day of the year, unfortunately all the dogs had to stay in doors for their own safety. It was, as a result, not great for collections although we did raise a surprising £50 from the few very hot visitors to the stand.

We were delighted to be kindly offered to stay in the Sergeants’ mess at Henlow. We were able to leave a collection box in the onsite Costcutter store which receives a lot of footfall.

Overall, this was a successful visit to Henlow!
