The Big Dog Walk
in support of NMWDM
The Big Dog Walk is a national event arranged for the August bank holiday weekend where people can join local walks or create their own one in their own areas.
The National Military Working Dogs Memorial are recruiting 🐕 and their owners to join us for the #BigDogWalk for the NMWDM Charity.
So far we have pledges to set up walks across Wales, Lincolnshire, Merseyside and Cornwall.
You can also set up your own event if there isn’t one on your area. You could walk around your neighbourhood, park, country park, beach, wherever it is possible to do so, safely socially distanced of course.
Use the #BigDogWalk2020 and engage with your local media who often help share events in their web page and Social Media.
You could raise just a pound a paw 🐾🐾 for each dog walked, or per mile, or if you can’t get out, organise another event to help the creation of the first National Military Working Dogs Memorial. Whatever you can manage for the guardians you very rarely see, but are there keeping you safe, always.
