Jaqueline Hurley, the UK’s foremost Remembrance artist, has donated ‘Devotion to Duty’ with a reserve price of £4000 to be auctioned in order to raise money for the National Military Working Dogs Memorial (UK).
Jacqueline Hurley is best known for her powerful and poignant War Poppy Collection, her tribute to our heroes in the Armed Forces and a remembrance to all those fallen and seriously injured in past campaigns. ‘Devotion to Duty’ is particularly poignant as it honours the working dogs which have fought for the country. It has previously been exhibited in the Royal Albert Hall and the National Arboretum.
The painting is an official War Poppy Collection bespoke barbed wire frame. It is hoped that it will create a lot of interest and help to get the National Military Working Dogs Memorial charity closer to its goal.
Any bids would be welcome before the evening. Please feel free to contact us for more information or to submit a closed bid. All bids will be held in the strictest confidence.
